What We Deliver

Everything your project needs to break ground.

From first sketch to stamped sheet, we handle the engineering scope that gets commercial solar projects through permitting and into construction.

Plan Set Design

Full commercial solar plan sets, including layout, racking, and single-line diagrams, built for a clean pass through your AHJ the first time.

Design

Structural Stamping

PE-stamped structural calculations for racking, roof, and ground-mount attachment, engineered to your site's real loads and licensed in your state.

Structural

Electrical Stamping

Stamped electrical designs, including single-lines, three-lines, and interconnection packages, reviewed for code compliance and utility acceptance.

Electrical

The 10-Day Promise

One submission. Five steps. Stamped in under 10 business days.

Every project moves through the same disciplined process, with a real person checking in along the way. It's the reason we can promise a turnaround the rest of the industry can't match.

01

Submit your project

Send site details, equipment, and drawings through our project intake form. It takes about five minutes.

02

Engineer assigned

A licensed engineer is assigned to your project and confirms scope, jurisdiction, and any missing details.

03

Collaboration & communication

You get a direct line to the engineer on your project. Questions, updates, and check-ins happen in real time, not just at delivery.

04

Design & internal review

Plan sets are drafted, calculated, and checked by a second engineer before anything gets stamped.

05

Stamped & delivered

Final PE-stamped plan set lands in your inbox in less than 10 business days, every time.

Coverage

Licensed coast to coast. Working project by project.

NovoEG holds active PE licensure across 42 states, so most projects don't wait on a licensing gap. They just wait on a plan set. Every dot below is a completed project, scattered across the states where we've actually done the work.

  • Structural & electrical PE stamps issued in-state, not outsourced.
  • New states added regularly as our network grows.
  • Don't see your state? Ask. We're often closer than you think.

2024Founded

Built by engineers.
Driven by purpose.

NovoEG was founded in 2024 on a shared vision of innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence in renewable energy engineering. From the start, we knew we worked well together. Our problem-solving styles clicked, and we had a knack for tackling complex challenges as a team.

After countless brainstorming sessions (and more long video calls than we'd like to admit), we decided to take the leap and build something of our own.

With years of experience in solar engineering, we saw an opportunity to create something better: a company built on efficiency, reliability, and a true partnership with our clients. We believe exceptional engineering should be seamless, practical, and help move the industry forward.

At our core, we're problem solvers, innovators, and engineers who genuinely enjoy what we do. NovoEG isn't just a business. It's a reflection of our passion for engineering, our dedication to quality, and maybe just a little bit of an obsession with getting things just right.

Meet the Founders

The people behind the plan sets.

Two engineers who kept ending up on the same side of every hard problem, and decided to build something of their own.

Robert Lade

Robert Lade

Co-Founder

Robert brings a passion for connecting with people and a remarkable knack for innovative design. His expertise extends beyond structural design, his primary background, to encompass a diverse array of design aspects such as team dynamics, operational systems, procedural workflows, inventive solutions, and strategic methodologies.

The decision to start a fresh venture with NovoEG stemmed from his aspiration to create something renewed: a company that practices the core values it aspires to, emphasizing integrity, transparency, and ingenuity, all driven by a sincere intention to make a positive impact on society. The prospect of collaborating for the greater good is exciting, and he's looking forward to the journey ahead, the transformative effects the team can achieve, and the meaningful connections they'll forge along the way.

Josh Yacoby

Josh Yacoby

Co-Founder

Josh's path to civil engineering began with a natural love for math and physics. He started his career at a structural engineering firm serving the telecommunications industry, but soon felt drawn to make a positive impact on sustainability, which led him to solar engineering. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from UC Irvine and an MS in Structural Mechanics from UCLA.

At NovoEG, Josh focuses on problem-solving and optimizing processes, always looking for ways to improve efficiency by automating routine tasks so the team can spend more time delivering high-quality work. He enjoys collaborating with clients who share his vision for a more sustainable world, and approaches every project with the big picture in mind. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife, son, and dog in Honolulu, finding peace and inspiration in the ocean through bodyboarding, surfing, and wave photography.
